I chose the May 24th calls on that day (May 8th), because my experience told me that since it was a bullish flag pattern I was seeing on the chart, the move to the next level should happen quickly.

Therefore, there wasn’t any reason for me to pay higher prices for a contract with a much later expiration.

You see, it’s this combination of technicals and options strategy that gets my juices flowing to teach folks just like you each and every day.
