This week,I warned my members that I am still not ready to call a bottom in the market, and this is partly due to the seasonals.

As this next chart shows, SPY’s current path is somewhat similar to the market over the prior 4 years.

Specifically, SPY entered October after a weak September.

Then, after some early October volatility, the market eventually

found its footing and began to rally.

Folks, action like this is where the old Wall Street adage “History doesn’t always repeat, but it often rhymes” comes from.

I can’t guarantee that the market will rally after this early-October shakeout we are now seeing, but I can tell you that the co-founder of RagingBull, Jason Bond, is 5 FOR 5 with his trades in this mess!
